BELTEI TOUR FOR TEAM LEADERS

Day 3: Wednesday, January 25, 2012

After taking the whole day to visit the resorts in Ratanakiri province, we continued to visit Mondulkiri province because Mondulkiri was the trip for our BELTEI team leaders.

The Day 3 was the day for us to spent one day to travel from Ratanakiri to Mondulkiri. Before leaving that province, we went to Savady restaurant to have breakfast. The thing that our BELTEI team leaders couldn't forget was the bus broken on the hill where is near O Rang village (O Rang is a village of Mondulkiri province).

It was 7:12pm in the evening, but the road covered the darkness and full of the thick trees at the both side of the road. Moreover, that location has got a lot of wild animal as like as elephant, tiger, lion, etc. They normally walk across the National road. Luckily, the tour guide was able to contact to the Rithy Bus Campany to exchange the new bus to take us. We arrived Sen Monorom city of Mondulkiri province. The bus took us to Sen Monorum restaurant, and it also took us to Sen Monorum hotel after finishing our lunch time.

That was the end of Day 3:

BELTEI TOUR FOR TEAM LEADERS

Day 2, Tuesday, January 24, 2012

Staying one night at Gold River Hotel at Stung Treng province, we, BELTEI team leaders, left it and went to SUN THA Restaurant to have breakfast before moving to Ratanakiri province because we needed to take long hours trip from Stung Treng to Ratanakiri (The meaning of Ratakakiri in Khmer words are Ratanak = any previous objects or animals, and Kiri = mountain, so the two words are combined together become the mountain with precious any objects or animal) is an isolate area. That area has stone, gold, wood, elephant and other wild animals.

we needed to have breakfast in the early morning because there weren't any restaurant in the middle of the National road. Hence, we left SUN THA Restaurant at 7:25am to trip to Ratanakkiri province.

Before leaving Stung Treng, the bus moved to SE KONG bridge that people in there are able to pass to Laos country. It is the important bridge for transportation goods from Stung Treng, Cambodia to Laos or from Laos to Cambodia.
(“National Road 7 from Katie to Stung Treng to Trapeang Kreal [at the Cambodian-Lao border] of 196.8 km including the Sekong Bridge of 1,057 meters and the Prek Chhloung Bridge of 137 meters, built with credit without interest provided by the People’s Republic of China, was officially inaugurated on the morning of 29 April 2008, presided over by Samdech Akkak Moha Senapadei Dekchor Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Cambodia H.E. Madame Zhang Jin-Feng.)

On the National Road # 7 and moved to The road 78 Kounmoun, we took long hours to be Ratanakiri, so all the BELTEI team members were tired. I was sleeping on the bus, and the others were playing cards to kill their time.

We arrived downtown Ratanakiri at 12:15pm. We got out of the bus and walked to a hotel (RATANAK PHOUM SVAY HOTEL) with our heavy suitcases. The hotel had been built for 5 months, and it was also the first time to receive the guests more than 45 people for one time so that the hotel owner was very happy to welcome us. The room fee was $25 per room. In the room was clean and comfortable.

We took a rest only 15 minutes and took bath before leaving it and went to a restaurant to have lunch because we were hungry. My wife and I had bath and changed clothes in order to prepare to go out together with the other BELTEI team leaders.

We arrived a cafeteria called TOP TREE at 12:35pm where we served food by ourselves.

We took this picture while we were standing on the small bridge of it. Under the cafeteria is full of cashew trees so it looks beautiful scene. When we were walking on it, we seemed that we were in the jungle because the cafeteria ison the top of the top tree.

My wife and Miss. Trip Molida, an assistant to Director-General, her position as deputy director of BELTEI Group, were standing under the cashew trees to took beautiful pictures.

Most of team leaders's wives have always complimented her that she is kind and helpful person. She is always smile to them when they have asked her for help.

It was the first trip of my wife. Therefore, I asked her to help my wife when she needed to do something because Molida was able to help her.

In the restaurant decoration is decorated as like as natural and full of precious wooden sculpts, horn of animals hanging on the wall and the wooden chairs are under the wooden table that made from floating tree-trunk. We found that we were in the Phnorng minorities living in the natural and using with the handcraft materials.

I was standing in the cafeteria, and I was putting my right hand on the floating tree-trunk. A man who was standing behind me is Mr. Reth Chanthoun, a campus of BELTEI 9, was talking on the phone.

Before having lunch at the cafeteria, my wife and I asked my colleagues to take pictures under the shadow of the cashew trees. We can also see the good view of valley of mountain that is under the TOP TREE. We both took deep fresh air.

Some of people are rare to be in Ratanakiri because it is far from Phnom Penh, and they shall take 5 days for their trip and spend a lot of money for their food and transportation, too. Therefore, they don't have enough time to visit Ratanakiri and Mondolkiri.

At 1:16pm

After we finished our lunch time, we went to visit KA CHANH waterfall to see good view and the ethnic minorities homes. The home for boy and girl who are single are different. For the boy home is taller than the girl home.

At 2:19pm
Leaving KACHACH waterfall, we were going to the ethnic minorities village where they made handicraft for sell.

In order to glorify the custom of ethnic minority, H.E. LY Chheng, a Director-General of BELTEI Group, and the BELTEI team leaders bought cotton scarfs that made by them. It costs 20,000 riels for a scarf.

I am one of them who bought it for my lovely daughter waiting my wife and I at home in Chinese New Year.

At 3:04pm
BELTEI team leaders were leaving from ethnic minority village to Boeng Yeak Lom (Yeak Lom Lack) because it is one of the popular resorts in Ratanakiri province, and it also remained in our schedule, too.

The protected area of Yeak Lom includes a circular crater-lake, believed to have formed by 700,000 years ago, situated amid pristine jungle. The lake is 800 meters in diameter and 47 meters deep, and is ringed by a 2.5 km hiking trail. The indigenous minorities in the area have long considered Yeak Lom a sacred place and the legends talk of mysterious creatures that inhabit the waters of the lake. It is one of the most peaceful, beautiful locations Cambodia has to offer and the water is extremely clear with visibility of up to 5m. It is a great place to take a dip early in the morning or late in the afternoon. There is a small center nearby that has information on ethnic minorities in the province, local handicrafts for sale and suggested walks around the lake. The area is administered by the local Tumpuon minority and proceeds from the entry fee go towards improving life in the nearby villages Boeng Yeak Lom is 5km east of Ban Lung. Turn right off the roads to Bokheo at the stature of the chunchiet husband and wife.

We spent 46 minutes to visit Boeng Yeak Lom by walking around and took some pictures. At that time, Mr. Pich Nol's wife got stomached because of poisonous food at Stung Treng restaurant. She was sent to clinic at the downtown of Ratanakiri province to cure.

At 4:51pm
We went to Boeng Kanseng (Scarf Lake) to see sunset. On the way to the hill of Boeng Kanseng, we found that the bus wasn't able to run up. Moreover, we were afraid of dangerous in the middle of the road. Therefore, we decided to walked on the hill to see the sunset.

Before reaching the Boeng Kanseng, we arrived a place that remain a big imitated Buddhist and a monk were standby there. We entered to pay a respect to the monk and listened to the monk blessing us.

Then, we continue to the hill as for visiting the sunset. On the trail to the Boeng Kanseng, my wife was tired because she has never climbed on the hill. Moreover, she was thirsty. I asked Mr. Phan Soriya, a campus director of BELTEI 7, a bottle of fresh water that brought along with him for my wife.

When we arrived the top, we found some of foreigners people were visiting the sunset. Some of us relaxed to and took deep breath to get fresh air because we were exhausted. We took pictures of the sunset and some good scenery of the mountain on our camera to show our relatives or friends that we have been there.

My wife and I thought that the sunset at Hill of Eisei Patamak (Hill of Holy man) isn't more beautiful than the beach at Sihanouk province that named "The Most Beautiful Bay in The World" because when the sunset, we are able to see the brighten on the wavy see as like as the bright of diamond with a beautiful sunset and fresh air of the sea to release our anxiety.

After taking 46 minutes of watching the sunset, we went back the hotel to take a rest about 1:30 hours. Then we went to the Paradise Restaurant to have dinner.

That was the end of  Day 2 trip.

BELTEI TOUR FOR TEAM LEADERS

First Day, Monday, January 23, 2012
BELTEI Tour has started for the first day to Ktratie and Stung Treng provinces, Cambodia. BELTEI team leaders are attending that event except Mr. Nuon Horn, a campus director of BELTEI 10, and Mr. Buth Dimang, a campus director of BELTEI 4, asked permission from H.E. LY Chheng, a Director-General of BELTEL Group because they are busy at that time.

It was the important event because it was the first opening day of BELTEI Tour. We do hope BELTEI Tour will run smoothly as our H.E. LY Chheng said "BELTEI Tour is a part of chain business of BELTEI Education and BELTEI Construction". All the part of BELTEIs are connected to each other and it is served to each other, too.

H.E. LY Chheng, a Director-General of BELTEI Group, has given comments to a manager of BELTEI Tour and all the tour guides to know for sure about their responsibility how to serve our customers.

He always gives example to all the BELTEI campus directors and BELTEI tour manager. For instance, the customers who are having breakfast, lunch, or dinner, have asked sugar, pepper, tea or something else.

We shall offer them, and we shall not complaint to them although they have only a cup of coffee. Today they drink only coffee, but tomorrow they will bring their relatives or friends to your restaurant because of the good service.

7:00am
My wife and I and all the BELTEI team leaders left BELTEI Head-office from Phmom Penh to Kratie province. We were on the way to Kampong Cham province. In the middle of Kampong Cham at CHAM KAR SVAY CHANTY (cashew tree farm), the tour bus stopped for a short time, and all of us were having break fast at 9:30am because the tour guides said we will have lunch at Kratie around 2:00pm.

On the road # 73, and # 368 to Katrie province, we saw the good scenery especially the farm full of green leaves. Although we not yet arrived the destination, but we were happy to see good views.

On the national road, we could see potato tree and potato bulb that have been dried on the road before transporting to Thailand or Vietnam country.

2:00pm
We arrived Katie province, and we enter one of a restaurant, Oudom Sambath, where is opposite Kratie river.

Having lunch around 30 minutes, the tour bus moved to Wat Sor-Sor 100 (The 100 Pillars Pagoda, where is a popular place, and the resident are strongly believe that they can pray to the god what they are willing to have or to do because god can help them to be successful.

On the way to Wat Sor-Sor 100, we could see the jungle at the both side of the national road. We found that jungle is so important to the human being.

When I was young, I have never though about the important jungle, but now I am understand very clear. I can say that WHEN THE HUMAN BEING ARE TAKING A BREATH OF FRESH AIR EVERYDAY, THEY DON'T KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS, BUT WHEN THEY ARE PUT IN THE CONTAINER OR THE PLACE WHERE DOESN'T HAVE AIR, THEY WILL KNOW CLEARLY THAT THE FRESH AIR IS VERY IMPORTANT TO THEM BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT FRESH AIR.
Nowadays, people around the world are caring the environment because they have known that destroyed jungle is a part of the earthquake , Tsunami, flood and the climates.

At 3:45pm

The tour bus arrived at Wat Sor-Sor 100. All BELTEI team leaders were visiting there.

First of all, they went to visit and were sitting opposite Preah Neang Kropum Chhouk or Preah Neang Voropheakand listening to her history by one of the layman in its pagoda to tell the story. My H.E. LY Chheng, a Director-General were sitting in front of us at the right side to history of her.

Then my wife and I went to the pagoda to pray to the god to help us prosperity and happiness. First of all, we raised our both hands up to the head and pray to the Buddhist to help us and our family to leave in peace and happiness.

We also treatise (Chak Kompi) to wish for the good thing this year. Normally, the treatise will be done for three times if the first or second times are not good, but we are not allowed to do the fourth time because everything is unable, we will know that we will be unlucky this year.

Luckily, I my wife and I got a good point. It means everything is good this year, and we will be success what we are willing to do.

After my wife and I and other team leaders visited the pagoda, we left the 100 Pillar Pagoda at 4:16pm to Strung Treng province.

6:25pm
We arrived at Strung Treng province, and we stayed in a Gold River Hotel. When we had a bath in a hotel around 15 minutes, we went to Sekong Restaurant to have dinner at 7:30pm where is the place that H.E. LY Chheng bought chairs that were ordered to put in the office of each campuses of BELTEI International Institutes. After having dinner, we went around Strung Treng market although it is in the evening, but we just wanted to see it.

We walked around the market to see the wood furniture making  in Stung Treng. They were expensive. Then we went back the hotel.

We stayed in the hotel the whole night. It was the end of the Day 1 tour.
