BELTEI STUDY TOUR TO SAMBO PREY KUH TEMPLES

On Monday, June 17, 2013 the students of BELTEI International Institute attended the study tour to visit SAMBO PREY KUH that is the seventh-century ancient temple of Cambodia founded by the King Isanavarman 1. It was once of the capital of Chenla known as Isanapura, and was a religious center dedicated to the worship of Shiva.

Collectively, the complex consists of more than a hundred temples built of solid bricks, late-rite and sandstone and from the remains. It is understood that several successions of Kings have maintained this site as their capital, each time adding more temples and monuments to the capital city.

At the time, there were three campuses to attend the study tour such as BELTEI 7, BELTEI 8, and BELTEI 2. For BELTEI 8 (BELTEI Pochengtong), there were 86 students of grade 12 to attend it. The buses arrived the school at 6:10am. The 86 students were divided into two groups (group 1 = 43 students and group 2 = 43 students). They got on the buses at 6:15am. Each bus has a list with the phone number of students and their guardians to be easy to manage.

The Study Tour started at 6:30am from BELTEI Tour where is located near the National Stadium. The buses arrived Skun, Kampong Cham province at 8:30am. They took a rest there 30 minutes. Then, the buses moved to Stoeng Sen, Kampong Thom province. The buses arrived there at 10:30am, and all the students had lunch at Arun Res (Sun Rise Restaurant).

After finishing lunch time at 11:30am, the buses moved Sambo Prey Kuh in order to visit the representative of the residents to ask some questions to get to know about the history of it.

The Study Tour turned back to Phnom Penh at 3:00pm, and they took a rest at Skun, Kampong Cham province for 30 minutes. Most of students were very happy. Some of them used their cameras to take photos to remind what they have done in the past event. It means all the grade 12 students will stop learning when they graduate in 2013. Some of them will study different universities; hence, they will not have more time to see each other as before.

When I wrote it on my website, I dropped my tears because I was thinking about them what they have learned in my school for ages. We have a lot of good remembrances. Everything has changed every minute so that we can't stop the time although I love my students so much. However, I do hope they will become the columns of the country. They will be able to develop our country. Thinking to this points, I had a bit smile coming from my heart because they are the positive of my thinking for my life.

Dear all students,
I would like to tell you that I love you all. All of you are still in my heart. You are my moral force to push me to work because you can complete my willing to develop our country. I really don't want to see my country to live in war anymore. I love peace that is full of knowledge in our society.
