International Youth Fellowship Culture 2013

On June 1, 2013 is the International Children's Day. H.E. Ly Chheng, a Director-General of BELTEI Group ordered to all the BELTEI International Institute team leaders to offer the Dreamland tickets to all the students of General Education from grade 11 to grade 12 and the students of BELTEI university (BIU)as for attending the IYF Culture 2013 that was inaugurated in the Dreamland. I am one of the team leaders who attended on that occasion.

According the speech of president of country director of International Youth Fellowship (IYF) who is the head-office coming from the South Korea. He quoted that the purpose of the inauguration on that day is to share the culture in the world to Cambodian people especially Cambodian youths.

Ahead of the speech of H.E. Ly Chheng starting, the Volunteer Youth of Korean and BELTEI Students showed the Korean Traditional Dancing on the stage.

After hearing a speech of the country director, H.E. Ly Chheng, the Director-General of BElTEI Group, the Adviser to Council Ministry, and also the President of BIU, gave a valued speech to that event.

He mentioned that he really would like all Cambodian people enter through the Globalization so that they have to choose one of the international languages particularly English one because we can't use Khmer to communicate to the worldwide.

He added all Cambodian people are lucky to have Cambodia People Party (CPP) especially Samdech Hun Sen who is an hero to end the civil war that have had during King Norodom Sihanouk (King Father) until 1993.

Although the United Nation Transitional Authority in Cambodia called UNTAC managed to have the National Election in 1993, but the civil war was being continued until 1997. Samdech Hun Sen tried to find a formula to end the civil war by using Win Win Policy to integrate all the parties, who were ruling some parts of the country to be able to live together.

When the speech of H.E. Ly Chheng ended, He and his team leaders were visiting the stores to see the products that made in Cambodia and from other countries in the world.

I went around the Dreamland to take some photos. Miss. Sok Thavry, an ESL teacher, who works for BELTEI 8 (BELTEI Pochentong) with me to take two photos for me. Then all the BELTEI team leaders left it at 5:25pm.
